Curly

Hey everyone today I am posting my take on a sweet image by Sheepski images.  His name is Curly and I fell in love with him... Have used this image several times for a boy card and this one will be for a friend who is ill...  The image will be posted in their new Challenge that is going on now till the end of June.  So go find an image and play along.  The Theme is "for someone special"

Wow didn't relize that the image was crooked.  LOL but its still there.  I used an embossing folder for the background an added some blue enamel dots.  Wanted something special cause its for a boy.  the sentiment was computer generated.  I mounted Curly with foam dots for some height...  Hope you like it and will come play along with SheepSki Design Challenge.  Here is the link to the challenge here:

Till next time Happy Crafting ya all.

Purple Dahlia

Good day to all...  Its afternoon here in the sunshine state and a bit on the warmer side for so early in the year but we will survive.  Love the warm hate the cold.

Today I am posting a Dahlia from Poppy Power.  The have a challenge going that is "Go big Go Bold"  so my choice is the beautiful Dahlia that is about 3/12 inches in diameter.  I chose a back ground stamp stamped in gray for a background.  I added the sentiment in Photoshop so it was already on there when I printed it.  I took the background off the Dahlia so I could put it on top of the background in Photoshop as well.  I added some gems to it but didn't want to add to much to take away from the focal point with should be the flower. This flower was colored with Copics and it took me about 2 hours to do.  My favorite flower is the Dahlia and I did my best to make it look like one I had in my yard when I lived up North. I sure hope you like it as much as I do.

I would like to invite anyone here checking out my image to join the challenge over at Poppy Power and to check out there shop if you love flowers as much as I do you will be so happy to find them.  The Challenge is here: and you can find the shop here:  So come on down and play along to have a chance to win some wonderful digi's of your choice. They also sell rubber and acrylic stamps if that is your thing.  Me I prefer digital most of the time.

Happy Crafting to you all and Happy Holiday as well.
Thanks for joining me in my corner of the craft world.

Happy Mothers Day

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL YOU MOMS OUT THERE.

I  wanted to show you a card I did with an image from Sherri Baldy.

I believe it is call Mother an Son.  I love how this turned out.  I used Oxide inks for the back ground and the chair is a stamp I have had for years and never used.  The swirl is part of that same stamp set and wanted something in that corner then I popped the image up for some demention.  I colored the image with copics (my go to medium)  The sentiment is part of set from TLC that I printed and cutout.  I hope you like it and hope all the mom's out there have a wonderful day.

Till next time Happy Crafting.

Geisha Girl #2

Hi everyone.
I won't keep you so long today reading about why I haven't posted for so long.  Today I am posting my second Geisha girl that I colored for Sherri Baldy's coloring team.  I decided since the first one I did was in Red I would go with a green color this time.  Not sure which I like better but I love them both.  You can find these images in Sherri's esty shop here:
I encourage you to take some time and go take a look as Sherri has hundreds of wonderful images and coloring books to choose from.  This lady never stops drawing I don't think.  Here is my number two image ( number 3 will be coming soon.)

See what I mean these Geisha girls are wonderful... she has some that have backgrounds too...
I used my copics to color this one as well and as soon as I get caught up on all my images that i have to get done I want to try to do her or one of them in Pencils.  I have never really been good with Pencils but want to try anyway.  I do hope you like her and will go check out the store.

So till next time have a wonderful day and Happy Crafting to you.

Geisha Girls

Hi everyone its been a while since I have posted here.  I have been busy coloring everything I can get my hands on LOL..  I have joined two different coloring teams.  And one Challenge team.  I haven't posted any of any of them yet.  Bad me.  I will do my best to make up for that today and schedule them to post a different one each day so you don't get over whelmed buy the amount of images I have to post.  Today I will start with the Images from Sherri Baldy since I have been on that team the longest.

Sherri has a coloring book of Geisha girls available but not sure of the price.  Her shop is here:   You can go check it our and see what wonderful images she has for you to color.  You can by the book witch normally has 25 images for around $9.99 or one image I think is like $4.00 or so.  If you like the Geisha girls then the coloring book is a much better buy.  I like the digital cause you can resize them to what you want, and print anytime you want.  Anyway enough of my rambling.  On to the important stuff.  MY IMAGE of course.

Oh my I just love her so much.  I was skeptical at first not sure how I would color her but I think she turned out terrific.  I used copics for the coloring of this sweetie.  I haven't made a card yet but have two more to do.  One is done and I just printed the 3rd one.  I may do 6 and use them as a gift for some one.  I  really like that idea.
So go over and check out the images for Sherri and grab a cup of coffee or whatever you drink cause you will be there for a while.  LOL

So till next time all have a spectacular day and Happy Crafting.
